One of my favorite pictures from the campaign. This was taken on October 18,2008 in St Louis, at the President’s campaign stop at the Arch. 100,000 people showed up. We were walking to the podium together.
OK, so I am a nerd. Claire McCaskill got a Tumblr and I am following it. The last election has turned me into an amateur politics junkie. I remember when pictures from Obama’s October trip to STL hit the web. 100,000+ people!! It was the moment I was sure he was going to win.
